Business Systems Analyst.

Summary:

• Flush out the details of the application end-to-end
• Provide technical and process documentation
• Provide interim support/transitional training

?

Task:

• Identify and decompose the technical and process elements that make up the process and application work stream
• Investigate any gaps and take steps towards remediation
• Make recommendations regarding skills/effort to support and provide basic services.
• Develop and transition the knowledge required to support and enhance the application going forward
• Provide up-to-date technical and process documentation

?

The high level outputs of the application include:

• Invoking a webMethods service
• Invoking a webservice
• Retrieving information from the client?s Content Management System
• Converting the XML information from a webservice into a catalogue node using XSLT transformations
• Publishing the catalogue to the webMethods database

?

Skills:

• Training and transition experience
• Strong understanding of technology and application components/languages (XML, WebMethods)
• Experience documenting technical applications and business processes
• Visio and PowerPoint
